YOUR  SENSES

An Unforgettable

VIBRATIONAL

EXPERIENCE

AWAKEN YOUR Senses

Experience the Pleasure of Sound through the Conduit of 3 Vibrational Instruments

You've likely heard the piano, but have you ever VISCERALLY experienced the piano?

Well, this is your opportunity...

The sound of the piano has been seducing our senses since the late 18th century. Its sound is one of the most common and well recognized instruments of our time.

Known as the “King of the Instruments” its range goes from the lowest note that can be played on a double-bassoon to the highest note that can be played on a piccolo. This versatile range is perhaps the reason why its sound is so compelling.

And while our ears have been well- seasoned to enjoy the audible vibrations of the piano, we are in the infancy of exploring the sensory vibrational expression of the piano...until now.

Under The Piano is an invitation to your senses and is the GRAND FINALE to this full-day sensory experience.

Jan Pearce is the creative inspiration behind this one of a kind sensory indulgence.

She brings a well-spring of knowledge as a Accredited Music Therapist. Therapy. While this experience differs from Jan's work as a music therapist, it draws upon her additional certifications in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (BMGIM) and in Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy (VAHT).

This unprecedented sensory experience creatively distills Jan's lifelong dedication to understanding and using music to facilitate a NEW level of receiving and perceiving sound.

Experience 3 INSTRUMENTS

The Grand Piano:

There are 230 strings required for a piano to make its full range of sound.

Over 30 tons of pressure can be exerted upon the strings of a concert grand.

FACT: A concert grand piano can be up to 8′ 11″ and weigh over 1400 pounds.

Crystal Healing Bowls:

The tones produced by crystal bowls are not just heard by the ear,

you feel them in your body, with certain tones affecting your energy centers (chakras)

for healing, balancing & meditation.

The Harp:

The harp is unique, in that it has many strings (usually from 25 to 47.) The vibrations of each plucked harp string are multiplied many times by corresponding overtones. This rich blend of harmonic sound bathes the listener in vibrational energy.
